Happy July!

And just like that, we’re already at the half of 2010. If you saw the previous post, you’d see that we had missed our “regularly scheduled once-a-month blog post” by 5 months. Woops.

We also just realized last week that it has been a full year since we moved into our office space and started to call ourselves a ‘company’. Aesthetec Studio turned one year old without us noticing, needless to say, it’s been very busy around here.

This summer, we have more people working with us full time.  Our two interns started a few weeks back and they’re already busy working on several projects. Adam Carlucci is a new media artist recently graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto; and Lauren Javor, originally from Ottawa, is currently studying interaction design at Umeå Institute of Design in Sweden and joining us just for the summer.

Aesthetec continues to work with the design team for the new Telus World of Science in Calgary, with Mark commuting to Calgary from Toronto every two weeks or so. We recently just completed a few prototype studies, which are the first series of many more to come, click here to see some behind-the-scene media.

And now, bar-b-que!
